About Arno's at 41 Main StreetRestaurant Week - Spring 2010 - View the Menu Arno's at 41 Main Street has been a Nantucket restaurant scene staple for over fifty years. Now in his fifth year of ownership, Chris Morris and his team brings a renewed energy to this Main Street icon. Still serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seasonally from April until January the current Arno's has a distinct modern edge. As Morris describes it, "Our building dates back to the 1850's, and has that warehouse feel with tall ceilings and brick walls. It's a simple, elegance with a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere." With new chef de cuisine, Jermaine Scarlett, the menus at Arno's will continue to be approachable with a refined commitment to locally sourced, fresh made items at an affordable price. Formally trained in the Jamaican culinary school, Scarlett has been with Morris and his team for many years and will get his turn as head chef this season. "I'm proud to introduce Jermaine as our head chef. He brings a creative flair to our kitchen and real artistry to his plate presentations. There are no limits to our menu, just attention to price awareness and seasonality." The Arno's staff prides itself on fast, energetic service with a smile. "I'm a front of the house guy and I pride myself on building a'hospitality culture'. Nantucket is a culinary destination and I know our customers expect service to reflect that. My staff is my other family and we invite our customers into our second home for a culinary experience not just another meal." When not behind the line in the kitchen you will find Morris tending to the 41, Nantucket's only wine bar, giving suggestions on his expansive wine list that includes 41 wines by the glass, wine flights and an artisan cheese menu. So whether you're looking for a bountiful breakfast, quick fresh made lunch, an après work appetizer and glass of wine, or a relaxing dinner, it all starts on main street...
